Summer Intensive
Reagle Youth Theatre's Summer Intensive provides a challenging and supportive environment for the dedicated young theatre artist. This four-week program features seasoned faculty and esteemed master teachers, offering classes in acting, dance, and singing, as well a variety of master class guests and specialized theatre courses. And new for 2024 - in addition to process-based classes, students will now also prepare for a full-scale production of a junior musical, to be performed at the culmination of our program! It’s the best of both worlds, but space is limited - to ensure individualized attention and fair casting, there is a registration cap on each age group (juniors, grades 3-7; seniors, grades 8-12). Don't hesitate to secure your spot!
PLEASE NOTE: While registration & completed payment for RYT's Summer Intensive does ensure a place in the program, all students will still participate in a positive & educational audition process for placement & casting purposes at the start of the intensive. RYT is thrilled to announce our summer junior musical, MATILDA! Based on the beloved book by Roald Dahl, MATILDA is a warm and witty musical that celebrates the magic of storytelling, the importance of friendship, and the power of being yourself. MATILDA's colorful cast of characters means performers of all ages will have the chance to take on unique & enriching roles, while also applying the skills they learn in daily music, dance, and acting classes. Participation in MATILDA is offered exclusively through enrollment in the summer intensive, open to students in grades 3-12.
